Your local history

Our local studies collection contains a variety of resources collected over decades detailing the past and present of Peterborough. Many of these resources are available self-service within our search room. Located within Peterborough Central Library.

Within the collection we hold a vast array of local interest books, some of which are available to loan, others are reference only to be viewed on site.

The collection also contains photographs, maps, directories and newspapers. See below for further information on some resources.
