Overview

Live at the Key presents an Evening of Comedy introducing Luke Kempner as our MC for the evening.

Luke Kempner has quickly established himself as the UK’s hottest new impressionist for the millennial comedy generation, amassing over 3 million views online, through his viral sketch videos . Luke is part of the new Spitting Image cast, which can be seen now on BritBox.

Combining razor sharp stand-up with incisively accurate imitations, Luke has made regular appearances in the BAFTA winning Murder in Successville (BBC3) and as the breakout star of The Imitation Game  (ITV1), which led to an appearance on The Royal Variety Performance (ITV1).

Opening is Chloe Petts

Chloe  “inexhaustibly funny mind” (Diva Magazine) and “compelling presence” (Steve Bennett, Chortle) has established her as one of the most exciting new acts on the circuit.

Chloe is an alumna of the prestigious Pleasance Comedy Reserve, has been shortlisted for the BBC Comedy Award, was a finalist of Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year Awards 2017 and came runner-up in the Funny Women Awards 2017.

She was recently seen on ITV’s Jonathan Ross’s Comedy Club, Dave’s Hypothetical, has been heard on BBC Five Live’s Fighting Talk and has appeared on Channel 4’s Random Acts and BBC 3 Quickies. Chloe featured on Penguin’s audiobook Edinburgh Unlocked which was recorded in absence of Fringe 2020.

Followed by Garrett Millerick

Garrett Millerick is an acclaimed stand up comedian, writer and director. His unique and versatile style has led to him being in great demand on the alternative and club circuits both in the UK and internationally and he recently made his television debut performing stand-up on the hit US late-night talk show Conan (TBS).

His breakout live show Sunflower became one of the best reviewed and most talked about shows of 2018, both at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and subsequently at London’s Soho Theatre. The show saw packed houses for both runs and added additional shows to cope with demand. The show was Time Out London’s No.1 Comedy Pick for February 2019, and secured Garrett a nomination for ‘Breakthrough Act’ at the 2019 Chortle Awards. Sunflower was recorded as an album and is available to purchase internationally from 800 Pound Gorilla Records.
